land of the (stain) free

The current TV commercial for Big Bob's Flooring Outlet is bugging me. Apparently they're proud of their wacky ads. The spot for their President's Day sale begins with an instrumental version of the Star Spangled Banner and an image of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It goes on to show other moments in American History. I guess there's no rule against it but I don't think it's appropriate to use the National Anthem in a commercial.
